The Arts are a great source of positive wellbeing and creativity and wellbeing is at the heart of Greenfield Arts.  We have some wonderful opportunities to help you explore ideas, build confidence and feel good about yourself.

New for this season is a creative course where you can learn mindfulness techniques and gain self-awareness.  The relaxing course ‘just breathe’ is being led by Noreen Gormally who will be on hand to guide you through the many practices and benefits that can be developed.  The six-week course will start on Monday 18th February and will run from 19:00 – 20:00.  Please contact Noreen directly for further information or to book your place just call 07785 272388 or email  What a great way to start the week!

Greenfield Arts also offer beneficial free activities for all ages.  Currently there is the chance to learn and practice ‘Young Yoga’.  This is a great way for young people to have fun and practice new skills that can be a positive part of their life both now and in the future.  Feedback has been very positive, “I have enjoyed it as it is calming, relaxing and something different to do” and “Yes, I have enjoyed working with other people and having fun whilst exercising and I have enjoyed learning new postures”.  The class is presently held on a Wednesday from 15:30 – 16:30 and is suitable for children over 8.

The Men’s Cree group meet up each Monday from 10:30 – 12:30. Cree is a group of male volunteers who work on a variety of projects to benefit the community which also contributes to their own wellbeing.  Their achievements are amazing, recently they have built a super-shed, created free little libraries throughout the region and renovated fabulous spaces for young people.  The group meet in a lovely environment and new members are always very welcome.
