Synergy at Greenfield Arts

posted 8 Sept 2021, 00:50 by Daniel Potts   [ updated 8 Sept 2021, 00:52 ]

Greenfield Arts are delighted to welcome back a group that promote wellbeing through their special brand of creative dance.

Synergy is a relaxing community activity that makes a difference through dance, music and creativity.  The dance session is accompanied by live music, includes relaxing techniques and is inspired by photography, songs, poetry and drumming.

Led by dance artist Tracey West and musician Mark Barfoot, the sessions recognise the impact of creativity and aim to improve wellbeing.  Benefits can include boosting confidence, improving flexibility and increasing energy, to name but a few!

The sessions are particularly suitable for age 65+ and offer movement and music-based sessions in a lovely, relaxed environment.

“So happy the class is back soon, it's essentially exercising the whole body to music, a feel-good sensation in a friendly atmosphere, great for men as well as women!” said participant Cynthia.
