Staff and students at Greenfield Community College would like to wish former pupil, Andrew White, the very best of luck in his forthcoming football match representing England Schoolboys Under 18 International squad.

Andrew will soon be attending the National Sports Centre, Lilleshall, where he will spend a weekend being briefed on the plans for the season. England’s first opponents will be Wales on 14th March at Wrexham football ground in the Centenary Shield.

Andrew is currently studying for a Level 3 Diploma in Sport as part of the Martin Gray Academy, which has strong links to Greenfield and its PE department. The PE department at Greenfield continue to work hard to ensure Greenfield students have opportunities to try and excel at a variety of sporting activities, both in school and out. Andrew’s success is a credit to their commitment and the success of the links with the Martin Gray Academy.

Both Greenfield Community College and Martin Gray Academy are proud of Andrew’s fantastic achievement and wish him every success in his future career.
