Greenfield Support Christmas Shoebox Appeal

Following last year’s incredible generosity of Greenfield students, staff and the wider Greenfield family the school were once again approached to support the silent Christmas appeal.

The appeal brings happiness to many children and young people in the area who might otherwise not receive a gift at Christmas.   The response has once again been heart-warming with a shower of gifts arriving each marked with a specific age range and wrapped in festive paper to bring a Christmas surprise for young people.  The shoeboxes are filled with a range of items and festive treats that will make Christmas a little more special.

Subject Leader Ms Amy Thurley has been leading the appeal at Greenfield with help from staff and students who have worked with enthusiasm and care to make this happen.  The boxes were officially handed over to Counsellor Gerald Lee.
