Greenfield Students Celebrate at School Prom

posted 16 Jul 2021, 03:56 by Daniel Potts   [ updated 16 Jul 2021, 03:57 ]

Students from Greenfield Community College were able to celebrate in style as they attended the school prom this week.  The Class of 2021 have overcome so many challenges recently it was a pleasure to see the year group come together to enjoy the occasion.

The event was organised by Greenfield Community College and a Marquee was set up in the grounds, decorated beautifully by staff and students making it all the more special.  The students were able to reflect on the last five years of learning, chat about their future and share the occasion with staff.

Thanks to everyone who pulled together to make this happen including staff and the many businesses and organisations who made the night possible:  Thank you to Jenny Henvey from Pretty-Me-Do, Mac Make UK, Darlington Chair Covers, Woodham Golf Club, BW Photography, Jeff Dobson Marquee Hire, Newton Press and the Rotary Club for awards, Nikola Milburn.

It was a lovely evening with table service (made and served in-house) and team challenges which made for a fun event.  We wish the Class of 2021 all the best for the future. “Please keep in touch and always remember you are always part of our Greenfield Family, take care” said Mrs Butterworth, Year 11 House Leader.

Greenfield Community College are committed to supporting students to reach their full potential and to realise an outstanding learning experience.  If you would like further information visit or contact the school by emailing or by calling 01325 300378.
