Greenfield Raise More than a Smile for Comic Relief

Students at Greenfield Community College have once again risen to the challenge to raise funds for good causes.  As part of the charity effort for Comic Relief students have been taking part in activities that will benefit children in need both locally and around the world, raising a smile at the same time.

Staff and students organised a selection of activities and events to inspire everyone and raise funds.  This included games and quizzes, the chance to design a poster and superhero, online activities from the comic relief school events and a lovely ‘pass on a smile’ event.

Fund raisers and donations from red nose day brought in over £100.  Students have returned to the school site with a very positive attitude to their learning and have demonstrated their resilience and care for others in a number of ways, comic relief being just one example.  Well done to all involved.
